School Resource Deputies
Master Deputy E. Aguilar is happily married to Master Deputy F. Aguilar who is also a School Resource Deputy and is assigned to East Ridge Middle School. Master Deputy Aguilar is the proud father of seven children (Yes, you read that correctly). Master Deputy Aguilar has been with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office since 2004. He has worked corrections, road patrol and his current assignment in the School Resource Unit.
Master Deputy Aguilar received an Executive Business Diploma from Drake Business School which is located in New York, New York. Master Deputy Aguilar is working on attaining his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University.
Master Deputy Aguilar was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. Master Deputy Aguilar is proud to have served his country in the United States Army. He entered service in August 1996 and was honorably discharged in September 2002. After separation from the military Master Deputy Aguilar moved to Florida with his family and after one year in Broward County he relocated to Lake County in 2003 and has been here ever since.
Master Deputy Aguilar wants to mentor and continue to help the children who will some day become the future leaders of our country. He wants to set the best example he can for others to follow and continue to humanize the badge not only at South Lake High but in the community as well.
Master Deputy S. Kirkland is happily married to his wife, S. Kirkland, who is a school teacher in Sumter County. Master Deputy Kirkland is the proud father of three children. Master Deputy Kirkland started his career with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in 1998 where he was a Detention Deputy in corrections. In 2007, Master Deputy Kirkland transferred to the School Resource Unit where he continues to make a positive impact.
In 2016, Master Deputy Kirkland earned his Associate in Arts Degree from Lake Sumter State College. Master Deputy Kirkland is currently attending the University of Central Florida and is working on atttaining his Bachelor in Science degree in Education.
Master Deputy Kirkland was born in Virginia and moved to Lake County at a young age and has lived in Lake County for the majority of his life. Master Deputy Kirkland has been a coach in several sports in Lake county. He has served as a Cub Master in Troop 143 for 3 years. Master Deputy Kirkland recently joined the Kiwanis organization. He is excited and looking forward to being instrumental in assisting them chart a path for the future of our children.
Master Deputy Kirkland wants to assist the students of South Lake High School to S.O.A.R. through self and school pride, by being on time to class, to be accountable, and to show respect for others while they attend South Lake High School.
