SLHS CLASS DUES

Every year SLHS collects class dues. These funds follow the classes during their high school career and are used for several activities, including prom and graduation, and if paid by the due date, they include a class shirt. To pay, please visit the school website (link: https://lake.revtrak.net/high-schools/slhs/slhs-class-dues/#/list). 
All grade levels is $20. 

 

SPORT NEWSParents of student athletes.  It is very important to create an account on athletic clearance for the new school year (23-24) as soon as you can.  Even if you physical is still current from last year all of the waivers have expired.  If you show up to conditioning or a tryout without a new account you will be turned away.

Please do not wait until the day before or the day of practice, conditioning, or try-outs to upload.  Try to upload at least two weeks before to ensure you have uploaded the correct forms or if you are missing something.  If you use a school entry health form, a pop warner form, a form from another state, or even the old EL2 we can’t accept it and the doctor’s office can take 3-5 days to update the new form. Our athletics website is a great resource.  

Not playing a Fall Sport?  Please still upload everything now over the summer.  The person who checks the physicals teaches class and once we get into the school year it becomes more difficult to check them on the day of the first practice or tryout. 

When is the best time to get my physical?  Taking care of your physical over the summer ensures you will not expire during your season and possibly resulting in forfeiting games.  Did you know most schools do not accept physicals completed before our physical night?

Can’t get into your doctor and missed our school wide physical night?  Paramount Urgent Care donates $10 back to the school if you go there to get your physical done. 

Uploaded but haven’t heard back?  If you are “in-progress” your account is incomplete and something is missing.  It could be a form or it could be you haven’t hit submit clearance.  If you are denied please contact the athletic department asap.

COMMEMORATIVE ENGRAVED PAVERS

The South Lake All Sports Boosters invites you to become a permanent part of South Lake High School by purchasing a commemorative engraved paver.

The pavers will be installed in the area near the gymnasium and football field walkway. Purchasing a paver is an easy way to leave a lasting memory and at the same time proceeds will help pay for many needed items and repairs athletics needs such as scoreboards, baseball and softball fields, track equipment, a track, concessions, etc.

TRAFFIC FLOW

We have a single point of entry and exit for all car riders and student drivers.  In the morning, Seniors and parents enter through Gate 3 and Underclassmen enter through Gate 4.  All cars exit through Gate 4.  In the afternoon, all cars enter through Gate 3 and exit through Gate 4.
