School Advisory Council (SAC)
School Advisory Council
What is a School Advisory Council? A School Advisory Council (SAC) is a link between the school and local community. It is made up of parents, faculty and staff, business and community-at-large representatives, and the principal. The South Lake High School SAC meets monthly during the school year. Its main purpose is to meet to review, evaluate, and assist in the preparation of the School Improvement Plan. This plan is a formal document that shows the processes utilized by the school to improve student performance/achievement, which is then submitted to the School Board for approval.
If you are interested in being a member of our SAC, please contact us: 352-394-2100.
We are meeting the second Monday of each month at 7:00 pm.
