Parking

ATTENTION ALL STUDENT DRIVERS:

Welcome Back! We're looking forward to another great year at SLHS!

The distribution of student parking permits for the 2019-2020 School year will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Media Center AND Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 9:30-11:30 AM in the Media Center. Students wishing to purchase a permit will need to read through the application and make sure they have ALL necessary documents and funds with them at the time of application. The permits will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis to those students who do have all the necessary paperwork and funds. Starting this year, only seniors will be allowed to purchase permits for the upper lot (Senior Lot). All others (Juniors and Sophomores) will be assigned to the lower lot. All parking permit fees and outstanding fines will be paid AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION. Applicants will have the option of paying through RevTrak or in cash at that time. No personal checks or money orders will be accepted.

Please download a copy of the application (found at the bottom of this page), fill it out, and have it ready at the time of application. It has two pages and requires student and parental signatures as well as information about the vehicle being permitted. PARENTS, IF YOU WISH TO USE A SCHOOL AUTHORITY AS YOUR WITNESS TO YOUR SIGNATURE, PLEASE DO NOT SIGN THE APPLICATION UNTIL YOU ARE ASKED TO DO SO BY ONE OF OUR SCHOOL PERSONNEL ON JULY 31 (OR AUGUST 6 - SEE BELOW). WE CANNOT WITNESS A SIGNATURE THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN WRITTEN. 😊 If a parent cannot bring the application in personally at the time of permit distribution, then we suggest the parent secure another witness who is 18 years of age or older to be the witness prior to July 31 or August 6.

If you cannot make it on July 31 or August 1, we will have a table set up during the upperclassmen schedule pick up time on our 2019-20 Orientation Day, scheduled on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, from 1:00-2:30 PM. You can inquire that day as to the location of the permit sales table as it is TBD at this time. You will need to have all necessary paperwork and funds ready at that time.

Also, please note that parking spaces will be attained from what is left over at this time.

Attention Seniors, if you wish to paint your parking spaces, there is an additional $10.00 fee for this (see application). The dates to paint spaces are Saturday, August 3, 2019 or Saturday, August 17, 2019. On both days, the window of time is from 8:00-11:00 AM.

If you have any questions that are not answered on the application or above, you may contact Dr. Bristo at bristoj@lake.k12.fl.us
