We are offically sold out of HOCO tickets! Please make sure students bring their driver license or school id with them to the dance to match the name on the back of the ticket along with the ticket number.
We only have 20 HOCO tickets remaining for purchase on School Cash. TODAY ONLY we will be opening the sale from 12 pm to 1 pm. Once we these tickets are gone, there will be no more sold.
This past weekend the South Lake High School Screaming Eagle Regiment traveled to Valdosta, Georgia on Saturday, October 17, to compete in the Battle on the Border Marching Band Competition at Lowndes High School. Our Screaming Eagle Regiment performed amazingly in preliminary competition, winning Visual and Guard in our Class, and winning Visual Performance overall. We also placed first in class 4A, and first in the Crimson division (4A-5A), and FIRST PLACE OVERALL BAND!!! We also scored a 91, our highest score of the season.
In Finals competition, our students performed even better, and even though we couldn’t hold on to our overall lead, we ended up with a record score for our program of 93, and placing third overall (less than 2 points out of first place). We placed top 3 in every caption overall, while holding our own against some much larger bands. Our students also represented us amazingly off the field and warranted a lot of comments from the site hosts and other bands about the impressive culture of our program! Please help us in congratulating our fine students for this historic accomplishment and for being the highest level of student ambassadors to represent our school and our state up in Georgia.

We are also performing at our annual Marching MPA on Saturday, November 7, at 8:15pm, at the Villages Charter High School, if anyone would like to come out and show your support for our Screaming Eagle Regiment.

1. We will accept out of school guest forms through Tuesday, October 13, 2026. No forms will be accepted after this date.
2. Ticket sales will end on October 16, 2026 (or if they sell out before this date). If you are planning on buying a ticket - do not wait!
3. Tickets can be purchased on School Cash only - no cash will be accepted.
4. If you are buying a ticket for a friend who attends SLHS, please make sure to fill out the online form so we know who to assign the ticket through the Google form Link that is posted in all the Class Google classrooms.
5. Remember you must have no more than 5 unexcused absences, no OSS, and no fines to attend. There will be no refunds and tickets cannot be transferred.

The SLHS Fine Arts Department held an important meeting for all qualifying students to obtain information on how to earn Florida's Gold Seal through the state's Gold Seal Scholarship program. Scholarship monies are available for students who desire to pursue college in their field of Fine Arts. Go Eagles!
